Creativity ‘fuelled’ for Multiflight’s Colin for latest model project
Multiflight Airframe Paint Refurbisher Colin Taylor has found creative fuel for his model-making hobby at work, creating a model Multiflight fuel bowser.
The fuel bowser, created using spare parts from other model projects, now takes pride of place in Multiflight’s Executive Handling facility and is pictured here.
Colin had help from Multiflight colleague Dave Layton, who rolled the steel for the model.
Colin’s model-making hobby usually sees him making tanks and armoured vehicles. He’s currently working on some World War I tank models for his father.
In other spare time Colin enjoys attending 1940’s weekends and is a member of Mainwaring’s Mob (Dad’s Army BBC television sitcom about the British Home Guard during the Second World War). He’s pictured here dressed as Sergeant Oddball from the 1970 American war film Kelly’s Heroes.
A big thank you to Colin and Dave for the fuel bowser model!
