Aircraft engineering aircraft maintenance
Multiflight is a leading aircraft maintenance provider in the North of England, specialising in the support of turbine and piston helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.
We have invested heavily in our on the ground facilities here at Leeds Bradford Airport to create an aircraft maintenance centre featuring the latest computer technology. Whether you have fixed wing maintenance or helicopter maintenance requirements, we can fulfil them.
It is vital that your aircraft is maintained correctly throughout its life: to ensure its safety and also to protect its downstream desirability and resale value. If your aircraft does require work our team has the specialist skills needed to work quickly and professionally to get your aircraft in the air again with minimum downtime required.
We maintain a wide range of aircraft here at Multiflight. The fixed wing aircraft we can provide maintenance for include Vulcanair, Mooney, Diamond, Cirrus, Socata, Piper Meridian, Pilatus, Lear, Kingair, Hawker, Gulfstream, Falcon, Conquest, Citation, Challenger, Cessna, Caravan, Bombardier, Beechjet and Beechcraft. For anyone requiring helicopter maintenance, we maintain the following helicopters: Sikorsky, MD Helicopters, McDonald Douglas, Airbus and Agusta.
Third party maintenance service
Here at Multiflight our maintenance centre’s highly skilled and dedicated team has a wealth of engineering talent. Our extensive aircraft engineering facilities allow us to provide the highest quality third party maintenance service. We work with both private and professional operators and can provide you with a comprehensive and competitive maintenance service that ranges from a simple oil change to a complete overhaul and refit.
Cessna, Diamond and Cirrus Service Centre
We maintain our own fleet of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters as well as looking after clients’ aircraft.
We are a Cessna Customer Care Centre and are approved for maintenance for the Cessna Caravan and Cessna 425 to the small single engine Cessna 150. We are also a Cirrus Service Centre and provide a full range of technical and record services. As a Diamond Service Centre we provide a full maintenance and warranty service for Diamond aircraft.
In–house avionic design services
We can provide in–house avionic engineering design and installation services, and, as agents, can provide avionic equipment from Honeywell, Garmin, Narco, Avidyne and Ryan. We provide facilities for both CAA/EASA as a part 145, as well as a FAA part 145.
FAA and CAA approvals
Multiflight has both FAA and CAA approvals, including workshop ratings for piston engine overhaul, and is an authorised Teledyne Continental agent for overhaul, repair and replacement.
Pre-buy aircraft inspection or survey
If you are buying an aircraft it is essential that you invest in a thorough pre–buy aircraft inspection or survey and Multiflight can carry this out for you.
We can ensure that the aircraft and paperwork records are thoroughly inspected by our skilled aircraft engineering team, which will:
- Assess and review aircraft maintenance history
- Check the full system of your aircraft, including engine runs
- Carry out a flight test
Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC)
Every European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) aircraft that is registered in the UK and is operating on a full EASA Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) is issued, at renewal, with a non-expiring CofA that is supported by an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).
Airworthiness Review Certificates are valid for a period of 12 months. In order to allow legal flight to continue you need to ensure that before your ARC expires that a new ARC is issued or that the existing one is extended.
Multiflight’s ARC Capability List can be viewed.
