A flight in a Multiflight helicopter is part of the prize in a competition to win a VIP tour of the Emmerdale television set and lunch with the cast.

The competition is being run by tombola bingo. The lucky winners will enjoy a three course meal at a four star hotel with three of the Emmerdale stars. They will also get the chance to look round the brand new ITV studio and take a tour of the Emmerdale village. There will be a helicopter ride over the village and the day will finish with a glass of champagne and slice of cake.

Multiflight hosts the ultimate travel experience

Multiflight hosted a luxury travel event bringing together the world of private aviation and the latest models from Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Maserati.

Invited guests enjoyed an exclusive opportunity during the two-day event to appreciate the ultimate in luxury travel at Multiflight's state-of-the-art facility at Leeds Bradford International Airport.

Guests had the chance to drive all the latest models from Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari and Maserati courtesy of JCT600; to examine the latest in jet travel from Cessna; to tour Multiflight's own Boeing 737-300 corporate aircraft, and to take pleasure flights in one of Multiflight's Dauphin helicopters. The Multiflight charter helicopters on show at the event included an AS365 Dauphin, AS355, Twin Squirrel and a Bell 206 Jetranger. There was also a high performance Home Cinema from Brilliant and massages by Freedom Back Clinics.

"This luxury travel event was a great success, providing visitors with the thrilling combination of prestigious cars, jet travel and the Multiflight charter helicopter fleet to enjoy," said Steve Borrowdale, Multiflight's Managing Director.

He added: "Multiflight's purpose-built facility was the perfect backdrop to the event and visitors were able to test drive the cars and enjoy helicopter flights around the local area. Interest in private aviation, including aircraft ownership and charter, has increased significantly over recent years and there was certainly plenty of interest shown over the two days."

Visitors to the event were also keen to hear about the other services provided by Multiflight, which include aircraft sales, engineering, management and parts, executive aircraft handling and a flight training centre.

Multiflight Executive Aircraft Handling, which caters for all sizes of aircraft, from light aircraft to VIP business jets and 757s, features a dedicated taxiway from the apron and two barrel-vaulted hangars covering 6,300 square metres that are able to house four Boeing 737-800 sized aircraft.

Multiflight named among Britain's fastest growing international sales performers

Multiflight has won a place in the Sunday Times International Track 100 league table ranking Britain's companies with the fastest-growing international sales.

The second annual Sunday Times International Track 100 league table ranks Britain's private companies, measuring growth in international sales over their latest two years of available accounts. Multiflight is shown with 59% annual international sales growth over two years.

Other companies in the table include Cath Kidston, the clothing and accessories retailer; Flying Music, the producer behind hit shows such as Thriller Live; and Divex, which makes diving equipment for the FBI.

“Multiflight's international sales growth and place within the Sunday Times league table is testimony to our dedication to providing our customers throughout the world with the very best aviation products and services and our international reputation for excellence,” said Steve Borrrowdale, Multiflight's Managing Director.

Multiflight awarded five-year Great North Air Ambulance Service contract

Multiflight has been awarded a new five-year contract to manage, crew and maintain the helicopters for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).

Multiflight has managed, crewed and maintained the GNAAS helicopters since early 2010 and has supplied the charity with two Dauphin Eurocopter AS 365 N2 helicopters.

Steve Borrowdale, Multiflight’s Managing Director, said: “Multiflight is delighted to be awarded the new five-year GNAAS contract and to be the company chosen to continue managing, crewing and maintaining the aircraft that the charity has purchased through us, delivering a complete turnkey solution for the customer.”

Multiflight expands flight training operation

Multiflight is expanding its flight training operation to Blackpool International Airport.

Multiflight’s new satellite flight training base at Blackpool will offer commercial flight training and multiengine training. It will extend and complement Multiflight’s existing successful flight training operation at Leeds Bradford International Airport.

“We are always looking at ways to further improve our flight training offering in the North and our new Blackpool satellite base will enable us to do this, extending our flight training geographic cover and allowing students greater flexibility and choice,” said Multiflight Flight Training Centre Manager Mike McKenzie.

The Multiflight flight training base at Blackpool International Airport, which will be located in Hangar 3, is due to open in April. The permanent base will be open seven days a week, year round. It will be staffed by existing Multiflight instructors.

“The satellite base will offer commercial flight training and multiengine training in the first instance, but this may be extended over the coming months,” said Mike.

“The Multiflight Flight Training Centre team is very excited about this expansion of our operation and we will all be working hard to ensure it is a success and creates another centre of flight training excellence.”

Interest in our MCC course at all time high

Recent demand for airline pilots has seen interest in the Multiflight Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course at an all time high.

The eight-day MCC course introduces students to the multi crew environment. It is the final preparation before applying to the airlines and is considered very important in modern aviation.

The MCC course run at Multiflight is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority and is widely recognised for its excellence in the aviation industry.

Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course now £1,750 inc VAT

Multiflight Flight Training Centre is offering the Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course at just £1,750 inc VAT for a limited period only.

The course would usually cost £2,408 inc VAT: a massive saving of £658!

Multiflight Boeing 737-300 available for private charter

A Boeing 737-300 aircraft owned by Multiflight is now available for private charter.

The Boeing aircraft, which has been bought by Multiflight, can accommodate up to 48 passengers and has a 5.5 hour flight range. It is being managed and operated by GainJet Aviation, a leading global private aviation charter operator and management company. The Boeing 737-300 is on GainJet's Air Operator Certificate (AOC) but is based with Multiflight at Leeds Bradford International Airport.

The Multiflight Boeing 737-300 is the perfect choice for medium range travel, offering luxury and comfort. The aircraft, which was fully refurbished in 2009, features a spacious cabin that is divided into two sections. The front cabin offers 16 luxury club seats around Hi-Lo tables, while the rear cabin offers 32 luxury reclining seats.
