Multiflight donates VIP helicopter flight as auction prize
Multiflight has donated a 30-minute VIP helicopter flight for up to eight people as an auction prize at the Great North Air Ambulance Service’s upcoming Air Angels Ball.
It’s the second year running Multiflight has donated a VIP helicopter flight as an auction prize at the Air Angels Ball. The flight will take place in one of Multiflight’s fleet of luxury Dauphin helicopters.
“Multiflight is proud to manage, crew and maintain the helicopters for the Great North Air Ambulance Service and is delighted to donate this prize for an event that each year raises thousands of pounds for the charity,” said Multiflight Director Miles Beecham.
As well as managing, crewing and maintaining the Great North Air Ambulance Service helicopters, Multiflight plays as instrumental part in the delivery of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Crew Course (PHEMCC) provided by the Ambulance Service, through Multiflight’s Advanced Helicopter Flight Training division.
“We have worked closely with the Great North Air Ambulance Service for many years and know first-hand the remarkable work the charity does,” said Miles.
The charity operates three air ambulance helicopters across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria, bringing pioneering pre-hospital care to the scene, rescuing hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year.
The charity relies on the support of the public to survive.
The Air Angels Charity Ball is at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Saturday May 13th.
Tickets are £60 per person and include a three-course meal, live music, disco and other entertainment, a fabulous auction and raffle. A special room rate of £95 is available for guests wishing to stay at the hotel.
