We have a fleet of our own aeroplanes and helicopters available for self-fly hire and training here at Multiflight.
Whether you want to hire an aircraft for a trial lesson or for training as part of courses such as Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL), Flight Instructor (FI), or Instrument Rating (IR), we will be able to assist you. Here at Multiflight Flight Training Centre at Leeds Bradford International Airport, Yeadon, West Yorkshire, you can choose from a wide range of aircraft, including BE76 Duchess, PA28 Warrior, Robin 200, Cessna 172, Cessna 152, R22 and R44.
We also operate a FNPTII simulator for advanced flight training.
To allow you to hire a fixed wing or rotary aircraft from us you must hold a valid rating and medical for the flight you wish to undertake.
You will need to have a checkout (a flight with an instructor where you are assessed on your general handling, landing and take off), if you:
- Have less than 100 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) and have not flown with Multiflight in the preceding 28 days
- Have more than 100 hours PIC and have not flown with Multiflight in the preceding 42 days
- You must also abide by the flying order book regarding the school regulations on matters such as weather, procedures etc...
Height and Weight Restrictions
If you weigh more than 16 stone or are over six feet tall you will need to book a flight in the larger variant of aeroplane (C172/PA28) or helicopter (R44).

Robin 200/C152/PA28 - Minimum hire: Monday-Friday 3 hours, Saturday-Sunday 5 hours
Cessna 172 - Minimum hire: Monday-Friday 2 hours, Saturday-Sunday 3 hours
