Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).
All European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) aircraft registered in the UK and operating on a full EASA Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) are issued, at renewal, with a non-expiring CofA supported by an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).
ARCs are valid for 12 months. Before your ARC expires you need to ensure that a new ARC is issued or that the current one is extended in order to allow legal flight to continue.
NOTE:
Aircraft not used for commercial air transport may not have their ARCs extended, even if they have remained in the management of a unique CAMO for the past year.
An aircraft must have remained in a controlled environment under Part M for 12 months before an ARC may be extended. Since Part M became applicable to non-commercial Air Transport from 28 September 2008, only ARCs issued after that date may be extended.
