Santa arrives at children’s hospice by helicopter
December 19, 2011
Multiflight helped to make it a Christmas to remember for a Boston Spa hospice today, Monday December 19th, by providing a helicopter for a visit by Santa.
Multiflight provided a Dauphin helicopter from its fleet of charter helicopters to fly Santa in with presents to Martin House Children’s Hospice. Children and their families looked on in excitement as the Dauphin helicopter landed at the hospice and Santa emerged.
Multiflight and Leeds Bradford International Airport joined forces again this year to provide the helicopter and presents for a special treat for the children and their families.
“It’s great to be able to help give the children, their families and the staff at the hospice a special Christmas treat and Multiflight is delighted to be able to do this,” says Linda Nicholls, Multiflight’s Charter Manager.
Sheila O’Leary, Head of Care at Martin House Children’s Hospice, says: “Santa arriving in his helicopter is one of the most magical visits to Martin House.”
