When Leeds Bradford International Airport celebrated its 80th anniversary last week there were some memorable flyovers, including Lancaster Bomber and Eurofighter Typhoon flyovers. We have already shared some pictures from these flyovers with you and here are a few more, courtesy of Karen Spencer from Multiflight (Karen Spencer Photography).
Karen, who works in Aircraft Parts at Multiflight, joined all the Multiflight staff in watching the flyovers.

Wow! Just after noon today there were some special flyovers at Leeds Bradford International Airport, featuring a Lancaster Bomber and a Eurofighter Typhoon. A special date for Leeds Bradford International Airport was marked in fine style yesterday, Monday October 17th, with flyovers, an exhibition opening and a book launch. Multiflight joined in the celebrations and enjoyed watching the flyovers, which took place during the day, and attending an event at the airport. (more…)

There’s much anticipation here at Multiflight as we wait to see a flyby to mark the 80th anniversary of Leeds Bradford International Airport. Two F-16 Fighter Planes are to fly over the airport at 12 noon today to mark the anniversary and to honour the 609 Squadron. The planes will fly over three times. (more…)
