Multiflight helicopters at Helitech 2011

Opening for its 25th year, Helitech was blessed with bright blue skies yesterday – perfect for people flying in.  There was a surprise visit from Apache pilots based at the nearby RAF airbase.

Highlights included the display of helicopters outside the hall.  These included two AS365 Dauphins from Multiflight.  One is a newly refurbished Dauphin for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.  Multiflight has a five-year contract to manage, crew and maintain the helicopters for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, and has supplied the Service with aircraft.

Other highlights included:

  • 200 exhibitors, including Multiflight on Stand 2000
  • Workshops

Today there is lots to look forward to, including conference sessions, and an aerial display at 12.30.

If you are at the exhibition please come along to the Multiflight stand.
